Now after all this time, we find out that it's Haruka. Been biting my tongue trying not to reveal that for 5 weeks!!

Not your typical giant mech series.... I liked it! I loved the character designs and the color palette, and the mechs and the dolems were cool. The ending was a little surreal but what do you expect when you are messing with reality?

A fun ride.

I still say it's a better Evangelion than Evangelion, but something about watching it a second time... I doubt I'll watch it again.

Last Exile seems to have some Miyazaki influences, giant airships, unusual aircraft, a blue glowing ore that has something to do with the ships floating. The control panels even look like the panels from the gunship in Nausicaa!
