    Oh crap! I was wrong, the 2004 version is available on instant watch, the original has to be ordered. Drat!

    Are we watching the original original or the 2004 original? If it's the 1988 one, I'll need to acquire it.

    The 2004 version is much more visually appealing, but strays considerably from the original storyline. I think the 2004 version would be much more fun to watch and easier for everyone to acquire, and if you wish to learn more about the original storyline you could look it up on line and read it or order the manga and enjoy the artwork and Shirow's early artstyle and gritty realism.

    I vote both, but prefer he 2004 version. Although, it's been ages/decades since I've seen the 1988 one. And, if I do, I'll want to watch Riding Bean, BGC, and Scramble Wars again. d:

    Let's watch the 2004 version since it's easily available on IW. I'll check out the '88 version sometime later. Thanks y'all.
