Crixus - Acts mean but hell of a romantic
Spartacus - Used to act on his guts, but he's like a new man now...
Varro - Spartacus' best friend. Has a gambling problem but loves his family
Barca - While mean to the new recruits, the man has a gentle heart
Ashur - A man who wanted glory in the arena, but lives with honor, devious to the bitter end
Agron - Loves his brother Duro, and now in love with Nashir the little man
Dagan - Brought in with Ashur, and a great fighter, only to die at Ashur's tricks
Baltar - Not Gaius, just Baltar... name otehr Gladiator you like

Pretty sure Oenomaus has been my favorite from the very beginning. And I think it was his time to go. I support the writer's decision on that one.
At first he I felt about him that he was a jackass, but over the run of the series he got more multi-faceted and I would trust him with my life. Tough sometimes he can be a bit oversensitive. Vote goes to Crixus!

my vote went to Varro, because who wouldn't want a friend like Varro. He was a great fighter, who manages to keep a smile on his face even though life hasn't been kind.
It is also sad to know that life is also so brutal for the average romans that some of them had to sell themselves into slavery. Varro and his wife brought another layer to roman slavery to the show.
