Childhood cartoon help
A long time ago I used to watch this cartoon involving spaceships that looked like actually naval ships. Well except for the big hole they had in the bow which was for a big white laser beam type weapon that they cranked up once per episode. I think the bad guys were green.
Any help?

I loved that show. It is on my "buy sometime down the road" list.

Its on my buy list too - but any time I've seen it, it has been damnably expensive so I sigh and move on.
I may be a day late and a dollar short, but I do get there in the end.
