Hey. We have an immediate job opening where I work. It's a full-time gig, with benefits, in downtown Cleveland. Long story short, you write a few 200-400 word pieces a week, do some database work, wrangle hi-res artwork, conduct phoners. You write about movies, plays, nightlife stuff, daylife, etc. Pretty cushy gig, and pop-culture literacy is a must. Position is Assistant Night & Day Editor. Holler at me if you're seriously interested, and I can provide more info. It'd be nice to have some actual water-cooler time with a GWC person.

How far away would this be from Slavic Village or Independence? This is of interest although I imagine the definition of "downtown" has changed perhaps.

This sounds like a job that can be telecommuted.

I'm guessing that a Baltimoron wouldn't make the cut, though.

A couple blocks away from Jacobs' Field, right on the cusp of the Flats. Naw, sorry, no telecommutes.
