I get Alpaca points? Awesome!

"I like the tremors." A great line which I hope to work into conversation someday. You know, for the occasion when I'm impersonating a deity and get asked to stop an earthquake.

I will also give mad props forever (and my Alpaca points) to anyone who gets the reference in my avatar. Hopefully you can make out that it's a brain in a vat. But whose brain and which vat?

I assumed it was Lister's from the 'Dwarf episode where they find the time machine and meet their smeghead future selves.

Ripley's brain was never sans body in Resurrection, I don't think.

Hmmmm, I'm trying to put my finger on where I've seen brains in jars or beakers before... Two that come to mind are the beginning of Monster Garage and Bill Nye the Science guy ;)

Ah hell no, I hope he leaves it and never gets back around to finishing it so it just becomes a running joke with the Monarch's henchmen - oh excuse me, minions (they like that better).

Excellent answers. All wrong, but excellent nonetheless. This is fun (for me anyway) getting reminded of all the great sci-fi that has made use of the brain-in-a-vat premise. (I have a professional interest in brains.)

Keep 'em coming.

I need to rewatch The Man With Two Brains. I remember loving it, but most of the details escape me now.

DocP, as a resident of England you should (theoretically) have a better chance of recognizing my brain avatar. That's your hint. ;)
